One Sunday at a time.

How we plan, how we meet, and how it usually goes. Plans can change week to week — this is how we keep everyone in the loop.

How we plan

A week, roughly.

  • Saturday

    Plan goes out

By Saturday evening, someone posts the plan in the WhatsApp: start time, meeting point, rough distance. Usually Kingston Gate at 08:00 — occasionally somewhere else, occasionally an earlier time.

  • Sunday AM

    Meet and go

Whoever's around shows up. No RSVP, no headcount. Quick hello, quick brief, and we head in. Done by 09:00 most weeks.

  • Sometimes

    We mix it up

When the park is closed or the weather's especially grim, we'll switch to the Thames path or somewhere quieter. Always posted in the group the day before.

  • Rarely

    We skip a week

Bank holidays, deep freezes, the odd organised chaos — we take the Sunday off. No guilt, no apology, back the week after.

A Sunday, easy

It goes a bit like this.

You arrive a few minutes before eight. Someone's already stretching. There's a brief chat about distance and route, and then we just… go. An hour later you're back at the gate with colder hands and a warmer head, trying to remember why Sundays ever felt wasted.

The only way to know
this week's plan is to join.

The WhatsApp group has the meeting point and the start time. No other barrier to entry.
